Drafters are high in demand as skilled workers who can create technical drawings and plans. If you want a future in drafting, our course will give you the skills you need for the job. The drafting course at ICA will teach students how to use basic computer-assisted design (CAD) software to use for the growing industry. Our drafting course will prepare students to utilize technology and standardized building techniques to create plans for many different projects.
This course will provide training on how to use AutoCAD to make detailed drawings for machinery, buildings, and electrical plans, and other types of infrastructures. Drafters use their own manual drawings as well as the AutoCAD software to perform their duties. Drafters will learn to see a project come to life through their own designs, from a concept to a visual plan for engineers and architects to use. Drafting for construction also assists Interior Designers, Kitchen installers, etc. AutoCAD software allows drafters to incorporate all necessary details into their plans, allowing engineers, architects, and surveyors to include specifics such as dimensions, codes, materials and even production methods.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment field for drafters is expected to be highly competitive through 2024, so the right education has never been more rewarding. Enjoy a satisfying vocation in a lucrative industry!
This Course is completed in 10 weeks, Classes meet Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 till 9:00 PM.

The price for the Drafting Course is $2,400.00 can be paid in two installments of $1,200.00 each before class begins and at the end of the first month, A $100 Registration Fee is required at the registration appointment.
